After Umar vs Merab one more main card event has just started to make its waves into MMA world. Pereira vs. Ankalaev is ready to storm the octagon.
On March 8 MMA world will witness the one of the most anticipated matches between Dagestani beast Mohamad Ankalaev vs leader of left hook and current light heavy weight UFC champion Alex Pereira who is also known as Chama.
Previously Ankalaev has accuses Alex of ducking this fight. Recently Ankalaev has took tweeter to accuse Alex of attending UFC match just for free alcohol which most of the netizens find funny rather than provoking.
Currently Alex is one of the most dangerous strikers in the light heavy weight division with his famous left hook which has stunned and knock out many champions of the respective weight division including Jamahal Hill and Jiří Procházka.
In UFC 312 Jiri has defeated Jamahl Hill by TKO resulting in his comeback and second consecutive loss of Jamahl Hill. Alex is now just one step away from clearing this division, but Ankalev is looking hard stone to turn off.

With his strong wrestling background Ankalaev is probably as good as Khabib in light heavy weight division. He has also good and fast striking techniques with nice defensive skills. On other hand Alex striking is too lethal but his defence is his weak point to take cared of.
Previously with his fight with Israel Adesnaya, Alex has exposed his chin too much and get knocked out. As for now Alex is looking very good and just need one clean left hook to clean out this division.
Ankalaev will go into the fight with a 13-fight UFC winning run. At UFC 308 last October, the 32-year-old defeated Aleksandar Rakic via unanimous decision. Prior to Pereira’s booking against Khalil Rountree at UFC 307, Ankalaev was considered the top contender, but “Poatan” doesn’t think the challenger is very noteworthy.
Pereira declared, “He’s just as dangerous as any other fighter I’ve faced.” “When you look at him and the way he fights, he’s just a regular man. He has his weapons and risks, of course, but I’ve been training hard. I’m prepared for him since I’ve changed a lot.
