American Rapper Kanye West found himself in the middle of yet another bizarre controversy at the 2025 Grammys Awards ceremony on Sunday. The rapper attended the prestigious event along with his wife Bianca Censori. Australian model, Censori posed in front of the cameras in a see-through ‘nude’ outfit.
According to several reports the couple was shortly escorted out of the venue following the viral publicity stunt. The duo arrived together at Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles with West dressed up in a black outfit paired with his signature black glasses. Meanwhile, Censori donned the long black fur coat which she stripped off at the red carpet to reveal the barely body-covering outfit underneath.

Interestingly, West, was nominated for his ‘Carnival’ under the Best Rap Song category. The viral incident sparked debate on the internet regarding whether the event could be classified as indecent exposure under the California Law.
The California Penal Code 314(1) defines indecent exposure as the willful and lewd display of one’s naked body in a manner that could offend or annoy others. While Bianca’s fashion choice did turn heads, legal experts suggest that the violation of law is dependent upon the intent and context of the event.
Although, the controversy had significant repercussions for West as he lost a contract worth 20 million US dollars in Japan after the Grammys scandal. The American rapper had two concert performances scheduled at Tokyo Dome in May this year. The investors and sponsors withdrew funding the event hence cancelling the event after the controversy.
The Internet had mixed reactions to the incident, while many applauded Bianca’s bold fashion statement others speculated it as the couple’s yet another attempt to steal the spotlight.
The couple has been successful in being the talk of the town through their brief yet controversial Grammys appearance.
