Karanveer Mehra Crowned Bigg Boss 18 Winner, Bags Rs 50 Lakh

India’s most-watched show, Bigg Boss 18, aired its finale on Monday, with Karanveer Mehra declared the winner of the season. He was awarded a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh along with the coveted trophy. The grand finale aired on January 19, 2025, marking the end of the season that began on October 6, 2024.

Mehra consistently won over viewers and fellow competitors with his calm demeanor and strategic gameplay. He stood out as an exceptional participant due to his ability to resolve disputes amicably and build genuine relationships.

Mehra faced off against Vivian Dsena, the first runner-up, in the final battle. After an unexpected eviction during the finale, Rajat Dalal secured third place.

The grand finale was a star-studded affair, featuring appearances by Bollywood celebrities and performances by the finalists. Salman Khan hosted the event, which was filled with heartfelt moments and celebrations of the contestants’ journeys.

The 23 participants of Bigg Boss 18 came from diverse backgrounds, including models, social media influencers, and actors. The season captivated viewers with its fierce rivalries, emotional moments, and surprising friendships.

“I feel very happy. I am the chosen one. I did the rare task of winning back-to-back reality shows. I believed in myself. I worked hard and aimed for the top, and it happened,” said Mehra.

Reflecting on his journey, Mehra called it a roller coaster ride of emotions. He shared that the show helped him in self-discovery.

“Earlier, when I used to cry over little things, I felt bad. But now, I believe that it’s okay,” he added.

The actor’s heated conflicts with Vivian Dsena and Sara Khan, as well as a budding romance with actress Chum Darang, were among the highlights of the show. This was Mehra’s second consecutive reality show win, following his victory in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.
