Batting first after winning the toss at the Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad, the Indian team put up an impressive total of 297 runs for the loss of 6 wickets against Bangladesh.

Sanju Samson scored 111 runs off 47 balls with the help of 11 fours and 8 sixes before getting caught out, while captain Suryakumar Yadav scored 75 runs off 35 balls with 8 fours and 5 sixes. Additionally, Riyan Parag scored 34 runs off 13 balls with 4 sixes and 1 four, while Hardik Pandya contributed 47 runs off 18 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes. He completed his century in around 40 balls and scored 111 runs off 47 balls before getting caught out. During his innings, he hit leg-spinner Rishad Hossain for five consecutive sixes.
